I love books. I love reading them, collecting them, blogging about them, and heck even writing my own.
That being said, I have noticed that I should have a posted policy in relation to my book reviews.
I do accept books for reviewing. Please use the contact form on this site to request my mailing address. Also please specify the genre or general description of a novel. If I feel the book will not a be a fit for me I will be sure to mention that.
Books that I accept for review will be moved to the top of my “to-read” pile. If a book or books have been sent to me specifically for review by the author, a publicist or a publisher, these books will have priority over all books that I have purchased or whatnot. If I am not able to review a book or meet a deadline, I will contact the book sender directly. I do tend to try to avoid spoilers when reviewing a book, but if a comprehensive review is requested, please make this clear right away. I will give my honest opinion about a book that I review regardless as to whether that is negative or positive.
Hardcovers, paperbacks, and ARC’s (“First Reads”) are all welcome. Please contact me with any questions that you might have in relation to me reviewing your book(s) on this site. I am certainly happy to post reviews in other locations as long as I can link back to the original here on Epic Plains.
If I start to receive quite a few review copies I plan on starting my own giveaway contests if the books coming in surpass my ability to keep up. (I have seen this happen to fellow bloggers/reviewers so mentioning it now.)
